REVIEW OF ‘THE BODIES LEFT BEHIND’
This adventurous thriller cum stressed family handler, by Jeffery Deaver, revolves around a homicide in a lake house in Wisconsin, with a police deputy Brynn McKenzie being its centre of gravity.
The plot begins with a freezing opening of murder of a couple by two killers and a lady deputy being assigned to handle the mysterious scenario. She, along with a lady who claims herself to be the guest of the victims, are forced to escape into thousands of acres of dense woods, to escape from the killers.
Though the bottom line appears promising, the narration fails to match the expectation. The timely strategies the deputy formulates to dodge the killers and the way the killers wittily outcome her traps seem to be increasing the mileage but the plot fails to hold it up throughout due to the extra lengthy descriptions that unfortunately provokes the reader to await its end.
The idea of tuning the instincts of a deputy and a killer seem exciting but the fascination fades away in the due course. An entire chapter is dedicated to explanation of the title of the book which undoubtedly adds fuel to the fire of frustration.
The author also provides an insight into the personal life of the deputy-her troublesome teenaged son, misunderstanding with her second husband, the reason she parted her first husband and incidents which leaves the readers with a sharp negative interpretation that woman who appear efficient at workplace fail to manage a successful personal life.
This 500 paged manhunt unwinds all the knots in the last very few chapters which provides us with a feeling of watching a film that was unsuccessful due to its focus on heroism(or heroinism in this case)and failure on storyline.

PLEASURES OF READING[A Journey Beyond Subjects]
This was the topic for general essay in my class 10 english board exam for which my answer was a 'by-heart and vomit' of my teachers' notes.I had then never read anything beyond subjects and had no idea about pleasurable reading. Then I entered higher secondary wherein I became broad minded(A decent way of saying stopped concentrating in studies)and started reading anything and everything I found to quench the sudden thirst for knowledge that had sprung up from nowhere.
Jeffrey Archer seemed to amaze me and Sidney Sheldon remained a puzzle. Dan Brown enlightened me on crypts and codes and Agatha Christe appeared as a knowledgeable friend of mine. It is then that I realised reading beyond subjects immersed me into a different world-World of thrillers, adventures, crime, romance, philosophy-a mixture of all emotions which none can experience otherwise, in reality.
A few of you reading this might murmur"Its only for those average students who never know whats their syllabus even after exams"-A strict no to you people. Any pretty smart student will know how to balance both. If immersed in pleasurable reading all the time, one will definetly get drowned.Books enhance ones knowledge about the world in leaps and bounds.I provide life time warranty and100% guarantee in saying this-BOOKS CAN BECOME OUR BEST FRIENDS IF WE ARE CAPABLE OF CHOOSING THE RIGHT ONES. It provides treasure for lifetime that can never be stolen.
Now its time for me to begin another book prescribed to me by a friend of mine. My journey continues.....How about yours?

THE BATTLE BEGINS!
This article has got nothing to do with the Srilankan issue or the Israel-Palestine issue either. This battle refers to the one that is faced by thousands of so called students once in six months. It is this time of the year when a certain class of students start working 24*7 whereas another subclass of whom become nocturnal. But majority of the people come under the 'I dont bother' type.
Should a vacuum cleaner be used only in vacuum? Is anyone playing a game of shuttle in a Space shuttle?Similarly should study holidays be used only for studying?--Sometimes being pessimistic is optimism. The answer for all the above questions is NO.
When I started thinking about what good are exams doing to the wholistic development of an individual ,rather than getting an answer ,I found myself arriving at more and more questions-Does score in the mark sheet determine a student's potential? Is it that all of us are here to just mug a few books for heavens sake and turn things upside down,to just increase the figures in the marksheet? Is there no other criteria available to access an individual? Should there be no other interests for a person other than books, subjects, references, seminar and class tests? Is there....... no I think its enough. My rhetorical questions are endless.
The motive of the article is not to find answer to my questions something even more broad-minded-Its SOCIAL AWARENESS.Remember guys and girls.IPL is tempting, most producers find this time of the year lucky to release their movies-Please dont discourage them.Afteral, true happiness lies in making others happy.Enjoy yourself and let others do the same. This battle is unavoidable. No peace talks can be conducted to bring it to an end.
There are bright heads who occupy the top positions in the monastery like Kings and Queens since they come fully prepared for the war.But always remember. It is we, the warriors who come with the least ammunition's,but weigh the most.Success or failure in the war depends greatly on us.Face the battle.........

THE FIRST STEP....
There can be no title, more appropriate than the above one for the first post of the 'all new, highly promising, fun ensuring, adventure seeking' blog of ours. The ignition for our lamp has just been provided and it needs surplous supply of fuel to enlighten the atmosphere as much as it can, with its incandescence. With hopes that our venture will be fueled consistently through the readers comments,we are all set to"BLAST-BLOGGING".Since it is an introductory article,I dont wish to extract too much work from my keyboard.Neither am I going to go devoid of words nor stop writing on prevalance of any damn drastic condition.I wish the first step taken alone ,will be accompanied sooner and be over-crowded in the long run.Hence the journey begins with this first step and as Robert Frost has penned down
"The woods are lovely dark and deep
But I have promises to keep
And miles to go before I sleep
And miles to go before I sleep".
